travel canada british columbia vancouver island victoria boston pizza
My mother-in-law, who was traveling with us in 2015, wanted pizza for lunch and, against my judgement, we stopped here at a Canadian chain restaurant known as Boston Pizza.
It was an off hour in the mid afternoon and the place, a large, somewhat plain, sports bar, wasn't very busy... and I wasn't expecting much.
As it turned out, the waitress was very pleasant, the manager went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied, and the food was very good.
I had a fresh and well-prepared burger and fries, while Lynn and her mother shared thin crust pizza.
For desert, we all shared a "piescrapper," a tower version of a Boston cream pie... excellent.
What a pleasant surprise...
